I think I understand what you mean, Mel. There is a disconnect, of course. But, I suppose, it is the fact that they don’t really belong there that is interesting…a provocative curiosity, perhaps. Then there’s how the landscape “structure” (and often times angularity) as you’ve taken lovely advantage of above contrasts with smooth curves of the human form. All the images above are a treat and I especially notice a cool reflection in the bottom one.
