And as I sit here mulling through images and plotting and planning our new adventure to someplace amazing… I realize these are my last images from the fest. All of a sudden my shoulders feel heavier, my posture gets worse and the feeling of loss hits … i really need to shoot again soon.

In 2014-15 I had a 40 year retrospective at the Biggs Museum of American Art, curated by Ryan Grover. He entitled the exhibit “The Line of Beauty”. It is based upon William Hogarth’s writings from 1753 where he discusses his aesthetic concept of the line of beauty. According to this theory, S-shaped curved lines signify liveliness and activity and excite the attention of the viewer as contrasted with straight lines, parallel lines, or right-angled intersecting lines, which signify stasis, death, or inanimate objects. This is a classic example thanks to Carlotta.

I needed some images with no nipples, so we lit the candles and gave them a burl. Sometimes they even hid Jessa’s nipples! 🙂
@brooke and I went over to another spot after shooting with the trees and started making these images. but a woman started screaming at us so we had to stop and end our shoot. Drogon must have sensed our peril as he showed us his shadow in the water. good dragon. (it was only a frigate bird but we can pretend).
