I was happy to work with most of these wonderful models inside, and Brooke made great use of the props.. I mean furniture… 🙂

After this part of the shoot we were warned by a young fella that we were on a “family” beach, and that nudity would be frowned upon….. This was around 7:30am… as it was, we hung around til nearly midday, when the families started to show up..

Christian was my first shoot with someone in front of my lens for about a year in a half. I started to load film and suddenly realized how unfamiliar my hassey was to me. The camera felt fumbly in my hands, and that was startling. So thank you Christian for your patience while I became reacquainted with my camera. I think the results are pretty lovely and I always love pro400h. 12 shots, gotta make them count!

Meluxine and the trees
The trees on Kauai were magical.
Today, I spent time in Darkroom and developed half of my 4 by 5 sheet film that I took. I have some good news and bad news. Good news is I got some good images. Bad news, it looks like few of the photos were to fogged up, I believe might have been due to TSA. After developing, I made quick contact print and scanned them. I thought I share images of darkroom I am able to use here on Base at the arts and crafts center. The other images are of Claudine. More will come in next week or so.
